Summer Haven  

Summer Haven is a little collection of  beach cottages stretching from the Matanzas Inlet south to Marineland.  Comprising the south easternmost corner of St. Johns County, it is a wonderful mix of tiny bungalows and big beach houses, with a tight community of neighbors who love their little island.  From the 1890’s Summer Haven has been an oasis to travelers escaping the cold winters of the north, and the hustle and bustle of metropolitan areas. 

Today, it is still a sleepy little enclave where the beaches are never crowded, the neighbors are friendly and give great parties, and children can ride their bicycles safely on the lanes.
